the two-colour paint job on the last pic is awesome - kept up with all the new trends, but the silver one with a saxo style arches isn't bad either. this way or another... you guys, are really corsa crazy! and that's what i admire! keep up the good work with your vaux baby... ;) morettes will be fine on yours...

endo pisze::)22 :)22 :)23 Great cars!!! Especially yours because I've also got corsa c with 1.2 engine :-D but without 20,000 euro in it :oko:. Yet.. :-D :oko:
Do you plan some engine changes?
BTW: Where's your luggage when your going on vacations?? :oko: :oko:
the back seats are usually sky high with luggage!!

engine changes...gonna leave the 1.2 standard just now, once the 2.0 turbo conversion is alot cheaper, i'll go for that, by then i'll have the brakes and suspension finished, plannning vectra v6 brakes and a set of coilovers!

wow - i dont like the morettes, seen a black corsa c close to me and i dont think it would suit my car, also they're a bit pricey!

good point! sort it out m8! you'll get more pleasure from driving even with a 1.2 lump, and when there's a show time you can serve your corsa even more drop. spax on corsa is bollocks - i am picking up my spax adjustable dampers on monday, do not really know why people on corsasport prefer fk. it's said that spax gives a harsh ride... but why? it's fully adjustable suspension both as standard dampers and in a coilover. and... spax is of pure british blood...

I will be a patriot and I will come back to my polish roots :) My English isn't good enough to use it fluently. You won't probably believe that last year I passed FCE egzamination ( I got C but it was the higher border of C - 73% ). Some time ago I was thinking about passing CAE in december 2003 - but that wasn't a good idea , so I won't take this egzam.

So as I said at the begining of my post , I will be a patriot , so .... the time has come to write something in polish : Kaszanka :-D

we'll be waiting.

btw, do you have to go with every single mod to the mot guy to check it out if it's ok, paying him for the examination? and do you have call insurance guy when the car is being modded?

: 18 lis 2003, o 20:41
autor: Martin UK
mot guy! no way! as long as the mod isnt illegal, or dangerous, then it is fine, you may fail your mot if for example, so corsa b clear lights arent e marked, dont have reflectors etc.

i have an insurance policy which allows ANY mods as long as they are not performance (cant touch the engines internals), apart from that i'm covered, as long as i do not change the appearance of the car in such a way it looks like a different car, eg - toyota mr2 with ferrari F355 bodykit.

i'll get neons pics up in a mo, and bear in mind, i did take the pic on my phone!

martin... tell me something about the scene round the cars in the uk. heard you're having track days, you're having cruises (both legal and illegal)... how often do you meet and what's it all about in the uk? people would rather go on track, streetrace, go on for a 1/4 mile or what?

: 19 lis 2003, o 19:44
autor: Martin UK
ahhhh the uk modding scene.

street racing doesnt happen as far as i'm aware, at least not fast and the furious style, you do get people racing, but not organised underground events, unless they're so underground i've not heard of them!!

the occasional legal cruise does happen, and they can be very big, just doesnt have the usual fun like burnouts, handbrake turns etc.

there are loads of illegal cruises though, http://www.strathycruise.com being the biggest i know of in scotland. theres a huge area of tarmac there known as the skid pan (for obvious reasons), and also as the jesus car park (because huge boulders have to be rolled away to gain access!).

there are always track days at the likes of knockhill and a place called crail raceway holds 1/4 mile days along with shows, a drifting oval etc, the last pic of my car i posted was at crail when max power magazine where there.

i usually go cruising at least once a week, my usual cruising ground is a place called ayrshore, http://www.ayrshore.com

the modding scene in the uk is excellent, theres everything from the odd euro look car, jap racers, corsas, bmws, out and out mental cars, ice cars, performance cars, everything! just a shame some of the parts are so expensive!!

have a look at those websites for info, and go to some of the links to find some more uk sites, plenty to look at :oko:
